LEARN TO GROW YOUR OWN MICRO-GREENS" WITH CATHY TESTA AT THE 2017 GREATER HARTFORD WOMEN’S CONFERENCE

Thursday, March 9, 2017. South Windsor, CT – The South Windsor Chamber of Commerce is proud to present the 10th Annual Greater Hartford Women’s Conference on Tuesday, March 28, 2017. Cathy Testa of Container Crazy CT will be demonstrating an easy method on how to grow your own healthy, nutritious, and clean micro-greens in a morning breakout session at the 2017 GHWC. Learning how to grow micro-greens in your home is not difficult and you practically have everything you need in your kitchen!

 

During the demonstration, you will learn all the steps of growing, the nutritional value of micro-greens, what not to do, and much more. Following the demonstration, Starter Kits will be available for purchase. These kits will jumpstart your micro-green garden in the comfort of your own home, allowing you to be eating healthy micro-greens packed with nutrition by the end of the week! 

About the Speaker

Cathy Testa is a Container Garden Designer and Plant Workshop Organizer located in Broad Brook, CT, with a special focus of combining Nature with Art. She recently acquired a permanent showcase at BOOK CLUB Bookstore and More in South Windsor, CT, located at 869 Sullivan Avenue. You may find her on Tuesdays and Thursday to learn about her workshop offerings and plant sales. She holds a degree in Floriculture from the University of Connecticut and completed the Master Gardener Program. She has been recently featured in the Hartford Courant and Go Local magazine, and regularly speaks at garden clubs, womens' clubs, and various farmers markets.
