DAMARJIAN “ENERGIZES WITH GRATITUDE” AT 2017 GREATER HARTFORD WOMEN’S CONFERENCE

Nicole Damarjian, Ph.D, LPGA, Director of Golf Instruction at Willow Brook Golf Course in South Windsor, CT, will present “Energizing through Gratitude” as an afternoon breakout session at the GHWC. There are many different ways to energize your day, and we are all familiar with sufficient sleep, proper nutrition, and exercise. These are all great strategies, but have you ever considered the simple gesture of gratitude to fuel your day? Research suggests several ways in which cultivating an abundance mentality can change your life with improved physical health, greater resilience and hardiness, improved vitality, greater happiness, as well as improved relationships. Given its many values, this breakout session with Damarjian will provide you with several different practical strategies from which to cultivate gratitude in your life.
About the Speaker
Nicole Damarjian has been ranked as a Top Teacher in CT in Golf Digest Magazine. She received her Ph.D. in sport psychology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She has coauthored several research papers and book chapters on the psychology of sport and has published various magazine articles specifically related to the psychology of golf. Damarjian has been a Class A member of the LPGA since 1997 and currently chairs the LPGA’s Master’s Thesis Committee. She is an instructor in the LPGA’s Global Education Program, where she shares her expertise in motor learning with other golf professionals from around the world. She currently serves on the LPGAs National Teacher Education Committee and Research Education and Testing Advisory Committee. Damarjian is also a part time professor at Eastern Connecticut State University where she teaches “Peak Performance for Life Through Sport” and “Health and Wellness.”
